Sai Agro Innovations Research Foundation (SAIRF) is not just an agricultural trust—it is a living ecological sanctuary and learning Hub rooted in the hills of Wayanad, Kerala.

Deep in Wayanad, Sai Agro Innovations Research Foundation (SAIRF) is rethinking how people interact with the earth. From polyhouses nurturing endangered tropical fruit canopies to micro-ponds recharging local groundwater, our sanctuary serves as an active, hands-on proving ground.

Here, learning happens under the canopy. We invite students to touch the soil, train smallholder farmers in advanced propagation, and demonstrate that regenerative agriculture is both ecologically vital and economically viable. Behind every seed we nurture is a holistic commitment: preserving biodiversity, advocating for farmers’ rights, and cultivating resilience from the ground up.

But sustainable farming is more than agronomy. A truly resilient food system must protect the person holding the tools. That is why our work extends beyond high-precision propagation and biodiversity to farmer mental health, legal empowerment, and direct community mentorship.
